Engineering Resources was established in January 1997. We have sustained controlled growth since inception, and strive for more of the same. Our firm is prequalified by the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), and has gained experience in both the private and public sectors.
The firm currently has four principals in charge of directing the company and ensuring the needs of every client have been satisfied. Our philosophy has always been, "Our best marketing should be our last project." Please review the brief bios of our Principals.
KURT J. HEIDENREICH, P.E., S.E. is President of Engineering Resources and a founding member of the firm. Mr. Heidenreich graduated from Purdue University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and in 1989 with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in over 15 states (including a Province of Canada), and a licensed structural engineer in two states. Mr. Heidenreich is charged with overseeing the operations, planning, and supervision of the firm, as well as project design and management.
TRACY WITTE is Vice President of Engineering Resources and also a founding member. Mr. Witte is a licensed general contractor, and holds a degree from Purdue University in Civil Engineering Technology. He is also a member of the Building Contractors Association. Mr. Witte heads up our design-build operations and serves as project designer and manager for architectural projects.
DEREK FREDERICKSON, P.E. is an Associate of Engineering Resources and joined the firm in 1998. Mr. Frederickson is a 1993 graduate of Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in Michigan and Indiana. Mr. Frederickson is charged with overseeing all site/civil services for our firm.
DAN SCHENKEL, P.E. is an Associate of Engineering Resources and joined the firm in 2004. Mr Schenkel graduated from Purdue University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and has a Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University in 2001. He is a registered professional engineer in Indiana and oversees all of the structural projects for our architectural clients.
